I'm taking Chinese classes already, is doulingo a good way to practice?

I'm taking basic Chinese lessons and I just wanted to know if duolingo is a good way to enhance my Chinese skills.

Try to know. You always can take a quick test to progress in Duolingo. The grammar is useful and the only characters without pinyin are useful too :)

duolingo is a good support course, but not a stand alone way to learn. you can also watch cheesy old chinese dramas, or reality shows (ever seen Happy Camp?), or things like chinese makeup tutorials on Youtube. the best way to learn a language is to regularly use it.

If you are already on a higher level in Chinese it can be quite boring to do the early levels but if you just started go for it.

Duolingo is very helpful. However, I personally think that it's helps more with learning something new, not enhancing skills. I would see what kinds of words and sentences you are leaning and revise on those, as Duolingo may not be helping with what you are learning in class but teaching you something else.
