I just wanted to share this Japanese version of "This is Halloween" from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. My family makes a tradition to see this movie at least once between Halloween and Christmas. I think the Japanese version sounds cuter but the voices do a good job also making it creepy. I think it's a good example of how things change in translation between two songs. The overall message is the same, but the Japanese version seems a little more welcoming and gives more of a sense of thrills, if that makes sense.
The nightmare before Christmas is one of my favorite movies sksksk. its an amazing movie~
Thank you! I love this movie and now it will help me to improve my japanese :)
Btw, the translation site you list has an embedded clip of the song, so it is possible to watch and read at the same time.
