I've instructed my students to type in the URL and their user name to follow other students but it's not working ... help! Merci!

The username they type in after the URL needs to be that of the person they want to follow, not their own. For example, if you click on my username at the top of this comment, it'll take you to my profile page. On my page, there's a button marked "follow".

Make sure that their accounts are verified by email. Second, make sure that they have at least, a one (1) day streak. Hope this helps.
