"SuvtaHvIS lurveng qarghan je, tay' chaH."

Translation:While Lurveng and Kargan were fighting, they were together.

I was trying to compose "While ... were fighting", but the words were not in the bank. I suppose the while includes the ongoing aspect of the taH in the translation. Isn't the taH redundant though? Wouldn't "SuvvIS" be enough?


Can't comment on what's in the word bank or not, but the "while... were fighting" form should be accepted if you can type it in.

There's a grammatical rule for {-vIS}:
This suffix is always used along with the Type 7 suffix {-taH} continuous.
