Followed discussion not traceable
I'd like to check back on the comments I make regarding sentences in the Portuguese lessons, and yet, when I hit the "followed" tab at the top of the discussion page, I see only discussions I have started myself (like this one) and comments I've made while studying other languages. When commenting, I always hit the button saying I'd like to follow the discussion.
Why is this happening? Is this a glitch through all languages, or maybe only in the Portuguese course?
The posts you follow are sorted by the date when they were created, not when you started following them. Scroll the list down and you will find these posts, I'm sure.
It would be nice if they sorted the posts according to the date we started following them. That way the most pertinent things to our current studies would show up at the top of our list.
That sounds like a good explanation, but unfortunately is not the answer. In one, I checked the creation date (five years ago) and scrolled down forever but it simply wasn't there.
Yeah, the whole forum software is rather barebones. But I have not yet noticed that a discussion would get lost.
You hit the follow button after you posted something? Maybe that unsubscribed you since commenting already subscribes you?
Well, I make it so that there is a check mark and it says, "following discussion," like it does here for this one. As I said earlier, the ones that get lost are the ones related to lessons... if I start a thread myself, it does get stored in my followed tab. Anyway, I will try playing with your suggestion, and toggling the follow button a couple of times before closing the tab.
So you're saying that you can see the sentences that you followed at the top of your "followed" tab? We aren't talking about the threads we have created, but about individual sentences from courses.
