FRIENDS IN DUOLINGO
I started a few weeks ago with Duolingo and I just realized that it would be so much fun to know someone that's struggling with the same languages you're learning, and just share tips, opinions... I don't know how to make friends so I'm just going to post this here :)
I’m struggling a little with Russian. I even set up a Duolingo group but nobody interacts in it, even though it always has people in it.
Discussions are a good way to learn more things (you can access sentence-specific discussion threads even from the phone app), also the "tips and notes" section of each lesson is useful (unfortunately that one is only available on the web version - the lightbulb button on the "blow-up" window when you click on a lesson, near the "skip" and "start" buttons)
I also have struggles learning Russian. One way I learn about tips is by looking at the discussions in the lessons. Sometimes I can look to see what people in the past said and how it was answered. You can add your own questions as well and have them answered.
As for friends, I recently learned about a monthly bunny challenge that might interest you. The discussion post is https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/29610253. I think they have it every month and it looks like good fellowship.
Hello SisterMari6, how come I never heard about this Bunny challenge. It seems very interesting and motivating, exactly what I need in this period. I just lowered my target to 10 XP...
Hello F_582087, I learned about it by looking through the discussions on the computer.
