Very descriptive, too... pua'a = pig nuku = snout humuhumu = triggerfish; humu = sown/bound...think needle...triggerfish have a needle-like spike in their dorsal fin to lodge themselves into a small crack in a coral so they are difficult to be eaten by predatory fish so, humuhumunukunukuapua'a = pig-nosed triggerfish

I know this word and what it means thanks to Pokémon =') The eighth generation of Pokémon games is based on Hawai'i, and there's a humuhumunukunukuapua'a Pokémon in it, among other Hawai'an references!
