Should I do Polish
For duolingo learning Russian, Swedish and Chinese. Is Polish actually hard to speak. Tell me your experience.
Hard to speak? Unless knowing Russian helps, it definitely is. Writing and understanding (written and spoken) is much easier, but still hard.
Maybe I will try to speak it or write it. How many year have you take Polish. And where are you from.
In general, difficulty of a language depends on what your mather tongue is. I would assume that difficulty of speaking Polish, for a non-slavic person, is on par with difficulty of speaking Russian. For an asian person this may be even more correct. I'm a Pole by the way.
I am Asian. And I live in Usa. Before I use to live in China.
I agree pronunciation is unpredictable, I tried speaking to my polish friend in polish and he corrected every word I said... it just made me sad.
I relate to that because I was trying Chinese and every time I am talking in Chinese everyone has to correct my word i say
