The meaning is the same, but I think the literal translation would be “kami tidak suka makanan pahit” = “we do not like bitter food”. “Kami tidak suka makanan YANG pahit” = “we do not like food that is/which is bitter”.

I translated it as we do not like food that is bitter.. shouldn't that phrase have passed?
