Speaker Icon does not work

Whenever I need to hear a sentence in English or Spanish and translate to Spanish or English, the speaker icon is greyed out, when I hover on it the hand shows up but clicking on icon does nothing. Hence I ALWAYS get that question wrong and lose a heart. In most of my tests, I lose all hearts just because of this. Any help please?
