He/She both should be accepted
Clearly, she as well as he has to be accepted!
Since it is more of a general statement (white dresses, not the white dresses), shouldn't just 'gaun' (singular) also be accepted?
I would only use the singular here when speaking bahasa Indonesia. However this module is about plurals
It's kind of a sexist thing to think that only women can comment on dresses...
Indonesia is a patriarchy as far as what i can see, but it still shouldn't be sexist i agree fully
Doesn't = does not
Yes but Duo does not like contractions.
It's accepted now
White is the funeral colour in China.
Many Westerners do not like black dresses because they remind them of funerals. If white is the colour worn at Indonesian funerals, "Dia tidak suka gaun-gaun putih," makes sense.
Then what color dress does a bride wear?
Red is traditional, but white wedding dresses can also be found these days.
Chinese brides wear red. Red is a lucky colour.
I googled Indonesian wedding dresses and it seems that just about any colour goes. Red, gold, and grey seemed very popular. There were no completely white ones on the pages I found.
What does this have to do with anything?
Gowns should be accepted, not just dresses.
Is it ok if in a simple chat I write gaunx2 ?
