Anyone know some German podcasts?

I've listened myself to Talk ohne Gast - Radio Fritz. Its about two radiomakers who invite someone and that person doesn't show up, so they still talk about that person but not with the person.. Its quite funny but I would like maybe storytelling or some other options as well!

I don't know actually. I'm not a podcast person but I'm glad you are enjoying your podcasts!

Lisapoeha: I'm impressed you can follow Talk ohne Gast. I've just tried to have a listen. While I could understand many parts in isolation, trying to keep up with the whole conversation is exhausting, and I frequently just lose it entirely.

For calibration, I have a vocabulary of a few thousand words, have read ~10 German books, and find most of the beginner podcast recommendations in this thread, and the Duolingo stories, easy to follow.

In the mean time I'm listening to audio books instead. I can follow along with the real book, and it's much easier. However, fiction uses the Präteritum much more than normal spoken German, and isn't really good practice for following conversations. Recommendations of "real" podcasts, that happen to be on the easier side, would be welcome!

I recommend Tunein radio. https://tunein.com/

It's available as a phone app too. Just select the language to German, select the talk option and then select the kind of topic you're after, entertainment, news, comedy, film, etc. There are loads of German podcasts and radio talk shows on a wide variety of subjects. It's pretty good.
