Some tools to help with Korean studies
Besides study on Duolingo, practice your writing, listening, speaking is very important then here is some apps/sites that will help with this:
Papago (translator) web/iOS/Android https://papago.naver.com
NAVER (Korean search engine) web/iOS/Android https://m.naver.com
KakaoTalk (messenger) Pc/Mac/iOS/Android https://www.kakaocorp.com/service/KakaoTalk?lang=ko
Whale (Korean browser) Pc/Mac/iOS/Android https://m.whale.naver.com/en/
Disco (Platform to read news) Web/iOS/Android https://disco.me

Another tip is if you use YouTube, change your region to Korea and see the ranking videos tab to find popular channels from Korea and practice your listening/speaking.
I used some years ago Memrise, it is good but I prefer Tinycards for vocabulary haha and TTMIK it's amazing I have studied with their materials, I'm waiting for new lesson and also podcasts
I'd love to try this but it's only available in the US and Canada. Do you know if there's anything like Viki Learn for UK learners?
I'm not sure really. I know that FluentU is around, but it does YouTube clips instead of full dramas. I see that you're learning Japanese too? Have you tried Animelon?
Ah, I see. No, I haven't but I'll definitely look into it and I'll give FluentU a go while I'm at it. Thank you :)
I know Viki Learn but I never used it because I live in Brazil and here it isn't available (Idk if with a vpn it will work)
I've also been rewatching Korean Dramas without subtitles and seem to get some words now. if anyone wants a suggestion just ask.
It is good as well, I have a Naver account then I connect all the apps in the same login haha.
I don't have any Korean buddies so Kakao is useless >.< (Sorry for the cringey emojis man) but I appreciate the help
I also watch a lot of cute shows on YouTube. The speed settings are great! I slow it down to help me with my listening and distinguishing the nuances that appear a lot more in the spoken language. Thank you!
