I think both languages are beautiful and would love to visit the respective countries. Which one should I learn first?

Slovak is considered quite a bit easier than Czech, but it will be a lot easier to find learning resources for Czech. You're going to have to decide for yourself which matters more to you. Also, if you know a speaker of any of the two or have an easier possibility to visit one of the countries, consider learning that language first. Having that kind of help is invaluable.

I think you should start with Czech for many reasons. Some of them were already mentioned by E.T.Gregor.

Just learn the one you like more. They are so similar, that I (as a Czech) can understand Slovak, even I didn't learn any Slovak at all
