Is Navajo Difficult For An English Speaker to Learn?

To an English-speaker, Navajo has lots of unfamiliar phonemes, tonality, practically no shared cognates and an extremely complex and irregular grammar that is unlike anything found in not only English but any Indo-European language. I think these features certainly put it in a category of languages taking rather more time and effort for an English-speaker to acquire to any useful degree that the vast majority of foreign languages English-speakers tend to learn.

To put it another way, of the other languages you are learning, the one with the most similarities to Navajo is probably Klingon...
