Why is Pōʻahia not accepted?

Wouldn’t it be right “Aia ka lānui ma ka lā ‘ehia?, or Aia ka lānui ma ka Pō’ahia?”

What (day) is the holiday? The holiday is Monday.

What (date) is the holiday? The holiday is January third.

The way this duolingo sentence is being used causes confusion.

{ DAY (which or what) = ka Pōʻahia }

is being used as

{ DATE (which or what) = ka lā ʻehia }
