The pronunciation of "sup" is supposed to be "soup", not "sahp"
Sup /pronunciation = soop/ = soup
Temperature (Eng.) = suhu /soohoo/ or temperatur /tehmpehrahtoor/
It’s just weird when you say “Temperatur sup ini sempuna”. You should say “Suhu sup ini sempurna.”
Can you explain this in more detail?
I'm guessing Temperatur is either too clinical and you'd only use it in a scientific context, or it's more associated with weather than anything else?
Yes, you’re right. Temperatur is used for clinical, technical, and scientific context.
But in other context, used “suhu”
I think this should accept both "sop" and "sup" as spellings.
No, sop is informal word. The formal one is sup /soop/.
Informal but to my knowledge widely used.
Makes me think of Goldylocks :O
