Mac app won’t open

Since the update I can not open the app. I enter an email address then am prompted to use the home button to enter a password. Then it crashes. Anyone have a similar problem? Solution?

Thanks to those people who used their common sense and provided useful answers. Problem now solved by deleting the app and reinstalling it. Thank you.

Have you tried rebooting your phone? And if that doesn't work, deleting and reinstalling the app?

These are two generic fixes that cure about 90% of all problems.

Aidan is probably just talking about the www.duolingo.com web portal and to launch it from a Mac browser...

For a second I was very confused about the "Mac app" wording...

Isn't a Mac something very different than an IPhone??

I have an imac and know there is not an app for it. Iphone, you can get the app. Chromebook just looks like that you have an app but it takes you to the website. Glad that Aidan463574 got it corrected.
