Ack, my wrong suggested translation was accepted
Recently I encountered this sentence: “Does the teacher have a dictionary? Yes, he has a good one.”
I translated it as: “Oes geiriadur gyda'r athrawes? Oes, mae un da gyda hi”
My answer was rejected. I reported that it should be accepted. Then I looked again and realized that my translation shouldn't be accepted, because it's incorrect: the English has "he", so it must be a male teacher. Oh well, I thought, the course contributors will review my suggestion and reject it.
But now I've got a notification that my translation has been accepted. And I can't find any other way than this to say "Um, maybe don't accept that after all?"
Thete seems to be only one sentence in the database with both athro and geiriadur at present, and none of its accepted translations include a mistaken athrawes. If somebody did accept it, they must have corrected themselves pretty quickly!
