Hey, what are the differences in meaning between omdat, vanwege and want when used as "because"?

"Omdat" and "want" are similar in meaning and are oftentimes used interchangeably. "Omdat" is a sub-ordinating conjunction which means that it begins a subordinate clause. Read more about it here: http://www.dutchgrammar.com/en/?n=WordOrder.58. That is not the case with "want." Vanwege means "because of" or "on account of." A few sample sentences: 1) We gaan naar bed want we zijn heel moe; 2) We gaan naar bed omdat we heel moe zijn; 3) We gaan naar bed vanwege het feit dat we heel moe zijn.
