I finished the Russian skill tree.
I finished the Russian skill tree. I feel great. I like Russian and I keep in touch with it for many years now. I am not studying it intensely. I have already gone through many Russian texts and I even used an audio book for an abridged and simplified version of a novel - Anna Karenina ( a Russian-only, 50 page, book ). I'll keep working on it like that.
Можешь ли ты сейчас разговаривать со мной на русском? Мне очень интересно, какие знания дает дуолинго. Попробуй!
Also one thing you can do to continue practicing your Russian is to change the site language to Russian and then do the course of your native language. It allows you to do more translation from your native language to Russian, rather than vice versa. But congrats man!
I know. More than tenfold. However for a first contact with Russian literature in the original, 50 pages is fine.
Congratulations! I have started learning Russian with Duolingo recently. I have read only some books on physics in Russian and some mathematical papers. However, I find that to get a job here, Russian is very, very useful. I wish I could get a certificate in Russian soon, might be this year.
Congratulations ! I hope to finish the German tree one day, I can't wait to do so !
Congratulations! I makes me even more excited to continue with the course.
Congratulations! That is a huge accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself. Make sure to keep practicing and I wish you the best of luck!
Hi, congratulation mate ! I expect to finish the tree, just like you ! Can i get the name of the version of Anna Karenina ? It will be kind ! Edit: Большое спасибо
Check out: Red Kalinka shop. They sell a lot of interesting books, audio-books, etc.
I reached the end of the skill tree at level 11. That is at 3530 XP. I'll return to the skill tree soon for more crowns per skill. As a matter of fact I started learning Russian a long time ago and I am learning it at a very easy rate. For pleasure.
The reason for my level 11 is that I wanted to refresh my Russian a bit. I also wanted to see the end of the skill tree. I knew some Russian from earlier. I am not stopping. I'll keep working on it at a relaxed pace.
Congrats! How did you find the tree? Do you find you can have a conversation in Russian?
No. I can't have a conversation. In fact I am not concentrating on that. I mainly read texts. If I change my mind, focusing on conversation, I think that I'll be able to have it in a period of one or two months. Duolingo is fine but, in case one wants to go deeper in the language, more resources are necessary.
