I think it depends on whether you want to do just one or two semesters (like Erasmus) or if you wanna study in Czech Republic for the whole programm that's taught in the Czech language. It might depend on which University/field you are about to choose (if you already know what/where you want to study, I could do a little bit of research for you). Generally I would expect universities to require B2 level and I would not recommend to even try to study a university with lower level than B2.

Also many universtities offer programms in English, but I guess you already know that studying in Czech language would be easier on the wallet :-)

Sorry for not getting back to you right away (holidays...) ... For studying Biology you will probably need to go to one of the natural science faculties ("přírodovědecká fakulta" in Czech). The schools are mostly vague about the required language level. The best thing would probably be to contact a study department (studijní oddělení) of few faculties to see what they have to say to it. Mostly online they claim that "you have to be able to study in Czech" and then they don't make a difference between you and czech students. Again I would say that B2 here is a minimum. Some schools will likely not require any proof of Czech knowledge since students at many universities have to pass an entrance exam and if you can pass it you obviously know enough Czech. The entrance exam is a typical thing at many universities and it can be on few subjects (for example technical universities often have Math and Physics exam), some schools ask for "general knowledge" exam as well, I believe MU in Brno has been doing a "learning potential test" ("test všeobecných studijních předpokladů"), which is the same for most of their faculties and asks such questions that they figure out if it's "likely that you do well at university".

3 most famous Universities in Czech would be Univerzita Karlova (Prague), Masarykova Univerzita (Brno) and Univerzita Palackého (Olomouc).. Beware that while Prague's university is the biggest, oldest and most famous it is also supposedly hardest to be admitted to and also hardest to finish your studies. Also generally in Czech when you're admited to university this is only the beginning and many people drop out (or are forced to leave) because they are not smart enough or they don't study hard enough. I myself have an experience from a technical university where only about 20 or 25 % of us eventually graduated.

Here you can find a database of Biology study possibilities in Czech: https://www.vysokeskoly.cz/tema/biologie The order of faculties is a bit weird but you will find those I mentioned above. As long as you go with a public university all of them should be fine (while private universities in Czech are often of horrible quality and graduates from some of them are a joke to people with "real" degrees).
