Isn't "mantequilla" the Spanish word for butter?

Yup! The Indonesian word "mentega" is directly borrowed from the Portuguese word for butter, "manteiga", which in turn is a cognate of the Spanish "manteca", which in some Spanish-speaking countries means butter. "Mantequilla" was originally derived as the diminuitive form of "manteca".
