What is the difference between "kuke" (to cook) and ho'omo'a (to cook)?

I entered “cook the rice and beef” and was marked incorrect. It is truly incorrect by some nuance, or is it correct?

"Cook the rice and beef" is totally correct, and should also be accepted now.
