Kanji isn't displayed properly.

Hi! I am relatively new here but eager to learn Japanese. My problem is, that certain Kanji characters aren't displayed correctly. Instead I just get a box-like looking symbol (for example the kanji for country and education). Is there any way to fix this on chrome? I got it to work more or less on firefox, but it's still displayed very poorly and way too small. My system runs arch-linux, latest kernel 4.18. I use mainly chrome. Hoping for answers, Max

Does your font include those symbols? You may wish to change your default display font.

Do you know which font goes best with kanji?

There are several typefaces that include kanji, but they might be found in packages that aren’t installed by default in your Linux distribution. If your Linux distribution is listed on this page, try installing the suggested package there for your distribution, then log out, log back in, and see if your browser shows the missing characters.
