Hi all, on the duolingo slip at the top there is a tab for words, I presumed it is to list all the words you learn along your course, but I'm missing at least half of them, and I mean just nouns and such.. anyone noticed the same thing?
I go through the tree with the key icon, - test out of each skills, each level until I reach 5 crowns.. maybe that's why? Still.. I would have thought..
- The 'Words' tab has been broken for years

The "test out of each skill" is far too easy.
You will not learn all the words, when you test out of to "crown level 5".
The "practice button" in skills with "crown level 5" gives exercises in "crown level" 1 and 2 instead of "crown level 4"
- "Crown level" 3 and 4 are really interesting "crown levels" if you want to get a good grasp of a language
Review Level 3: Listening
This level introduces you to listening exercises where you hear a sentence in the language you are learning and are prompted to write it down. These exercises are designed to improve your ability to listen to the language.
Review Level 4: Unassisted Production
The final level focuses on teaching you to produce sentences through unassisted production exercises, in which you translate sentences from the language you're learning without the help of a word bank.
These are the hardest exercises on Duolingo and are essential for learning to write on your own.
Oh great.. I don't ever use word bank because I do want to practise, and also it's not offered in the tests after crown level 2, but thanks for the advice. I've studied French for 4 years in school, so I don't want to spend 5 hours on une salad, un cheval, les chats.. etc. I just haven't touched the language for 6 years so, its good to refresh it.
