Internet and iOS Duolingo Discrepancies

Recently I switched from using the Duolingo iOS App to the internet version on my computer, but many things are unexplainably different or completely non-existent. Where is the graph on iOS for your weekly progress? Why are there lingots instead of gems on PC? Do I still get a chest containing gems (or lingots) for my daily goal reward? After I complete my goal (30XP) I have to switch to my phone, just to open the chest. But can gems even be used on computer?

Really hope someone has the answer because I'm very confused. :/ Thanks.

iOS apps and websites are technically different. I don’t know reason for that but it explains why Duolingo is different among different platforms. We need separate developers for iOS and web. Because we have many developing teams, they can be commanded differently (or they can possibly make some own decisions). Having variety among different platforms is advantage because different groups of users can can be monitored and compared to find best new features.
