How do I use VED!!?
I just cant seem to grasp when an where to use it
As in the preprostion? The primary use is to translate English "by", either to describe physical proximity (I live by the station = jeg bor ved stationen) or metaphorically, to indicate means (they live by fishing = de lever ved fiskeri).
There are a few idosyncratic constructions beyong this, notably "ved det at", meaning "because", more or less, but these are rare and often colloquial.
The homophones are the present tense verb (jeg ved = I know) and the noun (wood). I do not imagine those causing any trouble, though? They are used exactly like their English translations.
I think you mean using Ved with a verb. I saw in another discussion that Ved should be used with intransitive verbs. Here is the link to the discussion: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/4452104/R%C3%B8re-vs-r%C3%B8re-ved
