100 Day Streak!
I can't believe that I have been learning for 100 days straight. I showed the app to someone and showed how many lessons there are and she said she wouldn't be able to do that, but I have a very good reason for wanting to learn. My aunt and uncle speak German in their home and my brother lives in Germany and I would like to visit him, so I have 3 reasons to want to learn.
I'm on "Not" now heh. When I finish a lesson, before I continue to new lessons I just do practice for a couple days just to make sure I can remember the words. I also type out the new words and print it out and put it in my notebook so I can study from my notes.
When asked if I can speak German at a party last night I said "Ich spreche und verstehe deutsch." That was all I needed to say for them to be impressed. I also taught them that Normal in German is also Normal, and Perfect in German is Perfekt and that some words like English has sch instead of just sh so it's Englisch. It's a nice party trick I guess lol.
It used to have my real name, I don't know why it switched over to Xanapus.
Herzliche Glückwünsche! 100 Tage sind unglaublich und Deutsch ist eine so knifflige Sprache! Mach weiter so!
Glückwunsch!!! Ich hoffe ich komme in Spanisch genauso weit wie du ;) Und viel Spaß noch mit Deutsch :D Hoffe du bekommst auch noch einen 200 Tage Streak :D
Congratulation I hope I will come in Spanish as high as you (sounds false... :D I speak normaly German) I wish you a lot of fun with German! Hope you get the 200 day streak too!!! :D
What? Oh my goodness, that sucks. I have the streak freeze equipped just in case.
WOW! 612 day streak? Are you learning every language on the planet? That seems to me to be a lot more of a accomplishment than my mere 100 day streak lol. That's pretty awesome right there.
It's not really. Once you get into the groove, you can start to see similarities between languages and really run with them. I grew up with English, French, Spanish and Italian. I learnt some Japanese on my own time. So when I was here I decided to look at Swedish (just because, no reason), and to retake some languages I knew as a kid.
I then started to expand and expand the languages because I started to see how some were related to each other.
You've got some good German, you might want to try Dutch as well as there are some similarities there.
