What is something about Korean culture that you've learned so far? I've discovered a lot about Korea that I hadn't known when talking to natives and on my learning journey, but I'm still discovering new things every day.
I agree, both are equally as important because they influence each other.
One of the things Ive learned so far is how important your elders are. Even just one year older can effect the way you speak and act towards them. Like it's possible to learn the Korean language without keeping that in mind lol
I agree i think it can be bad to some extent because it makes an excuse for older people to treat those below them disrespectfully / badly . its almost like it can make people have a massive ego and stuff. like in certain companies and jobs it can just be an excuse for the seniors in the jobs to be really rude and then be able to justify it just by saying they older so that means younger people should just respect them even if they themselves are not respectful i think it should be more like you actually treat people respectfully regardless of there age .
