Problems with the new Android interface.
I realize that Duolingo is trying to make the application look nicer, but I wish you had done some more testing. I am having some problems with it. For a start, the icons for listening are so big that I can only see one line of what I am typing at a time, and I have to scroll up and down to see all that I wrote. Second, on exercises with pictures, if I make a mistake, the correction now covers up what I typed, so I can't compare what is correct to my answer. Sometimes I make a typo or other times misspell a word. One time I kept writing g instead of j in a word, and it took me four times to notice the error. I am getting to the point that I need to write down my answers. Finally, sometimes it doesn't correct my mistakes, but just gives me a green box with the translation, but if I go to the comments I can see I made a mistake - for example I just typed "interese" instead of "interesse" for 3d person single to interest in French, and no correction. Kindly fix this or let me go back to the old interface.
Welcome to real world deadlines!! I do sympathize with you though... Since they forced the update on my phone, I am using it ONLY to keep my streak up. I don't find any real value in the changes they made in the last release...
