App not recording and sometimes subtracting progress.

Over past couple of weeks, progress using the app has not been recorded properly. This comes in a variety of iterations. I will complete my three exercises, then find that instead of showing this, the “ring” will be set back at one set completed. I will sometimes have to complete double or more of he excersises to have the ring finally stabilise. Next day, though, record for the previous day’s work will be incomplete, though at other times the xp graph shows all of the excess exercises. I put it down to erratic wifi in Cambodia where I was working for a while, but now back on home turf the problem persists. App is up to date and is normally the on,y way I access Duo. Any advice? In the meantime will work online only. Thanks.

If you're not connected on the internet, sometimes your work doesn't get registered. On the other hand, at least you can learn while not connected.

Same issue (on Android): Lessons completed, XP added but possibly after the shortest of connection loss on the subway, only the XP remain but the lesson progress is reset. As completing rings is already a chore on upper levels, this is vexing.

I am beyond frustrated about this. I have completed one lesson of 15 three times and it is not showing a completed ring. Another lesson twice and just now started another, just jumping over the others and the first exercise did not save. In each case the completion was acknowledged and lingots received. I have enjoyed duo with a very long streak but this is no longer fun for me. I use the same, very consistent and reliable wifi, in the same location as always. I have uninstalled the app, rebooted my Android phone and even a factory reset. Nothing. This has only happened since the new format. Can someone help? I do not want to pay for duo plus. If necessary I will stop using duo and find something else. I would say we get what we pay for but it used to be so much better, always free.
