I don't think Duolingo offers courses for Albanian speakers.

That's right, it doesn't, sadly. You can see which courses have been built, and which are being built at the moment, by looking in the Incubator.

Maybe you are lucky you find some "shared decks" on AnkiSRS: https://ankiweb.net/shared/decks/

What other languages do they speak besides Albanian?

For some reason www.Mondly.com and VT https://www.languagecourse.net/vocabulary-trainer.php both support e.g Bulgarian.

I also find Slovak or Croatian in the one or the other.
With Greek you should also have much better chances to find a language learning app / site.

Yes, I have Google maps open while posting this ;-)

I am well aware that they are not closely related.

100 days, free course, MP3 audio files with native recordings: http://www.50languages.com

App searches: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=learn+albanian+language&c=apps

Those apps/sites which are available where you can learn Albanian, should probably also have the reverse learning option if you are lucky.

No offend intended, but maybe a "traditional classroom", where a teacher fully immerses language learners in a target language (like how some users used to learn e.g French in the "good old days" by only teaching/speaking this L2 target language) is more helpful than to directly send pupils/students to "Duolingo schools/classrooms" and have them game / learn around (=text translations back and forth) on their own??

I am still not 100% sure (convinced) if this "translation thing" is the right way to learn a new language, especially how to learn properly speaking.

..(...)..

Maybe your school expects from you as a teacher to take a 3-6 months challenge "How to "fluently" speak Albanian in 30/90 days" on your own? :-)

Have you found any FSI / DLI material for Albanian yet?

For a start you could upvote the linked Albanian language request thread.

With only 44 upvotes at the moment nothing will IMHO happen quite soon for the EN->Albanian forward or Albanian->English reverse direction.

I heard that some thread upvotes for languages have been RESETTED so the numbers are probably not always correct?!
