Taking Spanish next semester.
How far in the tree should I get during the summer to breeze through it? It's the most basic Spanish class.
In my experience and that of my daughters, if you don't go out and talk with people, your breezing through won't count for much.
Its hard to say because some class are ordered differently than DL is, but I would guess getting through objects pronouns would probably be a good goal.
Make sure you do more than just compete lessons on Duo -- do some speaking/listening. Watch the Spanish videos on YouTube called "Extr@" and/or other things resources. Take a look at the syllabus for your class and cover that material, tenses on Duo.
I have three months till classes start. I'm only taking this class because I couldn't take a 4th degree class, because of prerequisites. So I took this so that I'm still full-time. I'm not too worried about becoming fluent yet, it would be great. But that's not something I'm focusing on. I'm more interested in Italian. But since the languages are so similar learning both, helps each both.
