Golden German Tree!
"Endstation! Bitte alle aussteigen" - I know I'm not the first to post an accomplishment like this, but ever since Duolingo introduced the skill levels I have been struggling to get the golden German tree back. I just like the color! And now I have done it! It could have been done faster and with a better streak, but sometimes I encounter what I refer to as "festival incidents"... You know how difficult it is to maintain a streak when being on a festival with friends! Now, I'm happy to say that my journey has taken me to Munich, where I currently live as an exchange student. There's still a lot to learn and I'm far from fluent, but with a golden tree in my back pocket and immersion all around me, I'm getting there :) Carry on and "bitte zurückbleiben!" (as they mumble on the U-Bahn in Munich when the doors close)
Let me be the first to congratulate you. Speaking German is the real key and living in Munich you have that opportunity, you will certainly pick-it-up quicker than having reached Level 25 and having no-one to converse with in German. Well done you! Goldfinger!!
Godt gået Jens. Gut gemacht!
Hungarian has eighteen cases, or twenty-six, depending on whom one believes..
