HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
Keep Learning and Keep Growing
猪快乐的一年 means "A happy year of the pig". Not year of the pig, but the pig's year (lmao, how do I explain this). It means a happy year, possessed by the pig.
A better translation for "Happy year of the pig" would be 猪年快乐, meaning "Happy pig year".
No I am an Earth Dog. It is just that this year is the year of the Earth Pig.
1- To any people here who are trying to act chinese please stop, it's embarrassing to yourself (not saying there are any, just saying if you are or are planning to stop yourself because us chinese who can read english will definitely not approve)
2- Funny story- I was telling someone how I got money for the new year and they were like "um why?" and then I said, "Why do you get presents on Christmas?" and they were truly dumbfounded
It doesn't make sense to get presents on someone else's birthday. Or to have unbridled consumerism at that time.
