Inconsistency?

Hi. I don't know if there was a post for this before or if this is really a problem. I was doing 'Food' in the Spanish course, and it gives me clothes or other topics. I don't see how 'This is my coat' is relevant to the topic 'Food'. Does anyone else have this problem? I don't know if this was caused because of an update. All the topics I started with in Spanish before are all at the bottom of the list. I wanted to refresh my mind with those lessons, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Any insight to this would be very helpful.

I perfectly understand what you mean. Recently I took the liberty to comment every sentence from this topic that was not about food. I got scolded by one od the moderators because, and I quote, 'You've made about a dozen of the same post, all not relevant to the grammar of the sentence being discussed. These have been deleted. Sentence discussions exist to discuss the sentence. Please keep your posts on topic'.

So yeah, my comments have been deleted, because they were allegedly irrelevant, but it seems that the phrases irrelevant to the food topic are perfectly OK for Duo's staff. Inconsistency at its best...

Maybe to get their attention you could put this post under troubleshooting instead of Spanish? I personally haven't had this problem, but since you and other people are I agree it should be fixed!

Hi. The funny thing is, I did. LOL. I was on the Troubleshooting. But I think because my internet connection fizzled, it changed it? My post was even listed 3x. I had to delete the other two.

Duo uses the spaced repetition learning technique so you can expect a WTF on occasion

It wasn't the spaced repetition, but phrases completely irrelevant to the topic.
