The United States are on the American Continent
+1... it should be a plural: the USA are on the American continent.
Edit: Thanks AntonSie -- Apparently it's a singular noun despite being multiple states.
The USA is always treated as singular in English. Makes sense as it's the name of one country.
Hmm...I'm not a native English speaker, but this one says the verb should be singular: https://grammarist.com/usage/united-states/
"The United States is located on the American continent" should be accepted.
The 'USA' should be accepted.
The 'United States of America' should be accepted, it's the actual name of the country!
Does "Benua" have to be capitalized?
i don't believe so
