Can someone please explain to me the "Mohon untuk" part? Is this supposed to be "Please for (action"?
"Mohon untuk jangan/tidak"is a frequent set phrase -- You can find it on signboards, for example. Although "mohon" is often translated as "please" in English, "mohon" is actually closer to "I am begging you" (with high eagerness). So, "mohon untuk jangan/tidak menertawakan" is "I am begging you not to laugh". That's why "untuk" (= to / in order to) is inserted between "mohon" and "jangan/tidak".
