Clarification on "bod"
In the options 2 tips and notes it explains that bod can mean "that" as in "i think that". but in sentences like "Falle bod hi'n bwrw glaw" is it just a case of some words require bod for a different reason?
We might need to clarify that note. bod does not actually mean 'that', it is just used for a similar purpose; to introduce the dependent clause.
Expressions such as Dw i'n meddwl/credu/teimlo/addo/... can all be followed by a noun clause introduced by bod (or a variation) just as the equivalents in English can be followed by a noun clause introduced by 'that'.
However, in Welsh several other expressions are also followed by bod + dependent noun clause. These include efallai/falle, wrth gwrs, oherwydd, gobeithio and some others.
