First learning korean
Do you all remember the day you first started learning Korean ? How long ago was it What did you start doing first What were your thoughts
I started about 1 year ago I remember watching 2 videos about Hangul and getting the biggest god damn headache Then after 3 weeks of continuous intensive study it got better . My thoughts at first were kinda like 무슨 그 씨발?!?!
I started learning Korean about fifteen years ago. I learnt 한글 by associating it with pictures, like ㅅ was a snake tongue, and ㅎ was a person wearing a hat. Later on, I memorised words based on the "face." For example, in "왜냐하면," I remembered 면 as a winking, smiling face. Nowadays I don't see pictures or faces, but then again, that's a good way to measure progress.
i started with korean about 2 years ago. i visited a language school to really learn it. in the beginning i was a bit overwhelmed with all the new words and grammar, but when i finished the class i was really proud to able to speak a bit with my teacher in korean. this pushed me to continue learn korean.
I think we started Learning it at about the same time but I’m not sure you may have been on the forums a bit longer than me . I wondere what progress we will have made in 9 more months from now :/:
I started korean a bit. Now I didnt do any practice long time. Its definitely a more difficult language. I hope to find time in 2019 to learn it.
About seven-and-a-half years ago. But I haven't been studying all this time. Wish I had been! :)
For me it started with the comic I think most of us are aware of. The comic about how to read hangeul. It had its mistakes but I was so excited when I learned how to read hangeul. It was a bit after I had heard kpop for the first time, seen how popular it was, and I was just really curious: "What's so special about this? It sounds weird... Is it hard?" A few months later I went to my first summer course. Good memories. :)
