Does anyone know the difference between pergi and berangkat in this sentence? Both are correct.
Pergi = go.
Berangkat = leave for.
You can use 'berangkat' at the start of your journey. Let's say, on the road, someone asked you where you're going to, switch to 'pergi'.
A: I am berangkat to school now
On the road:
B: Are you home?
A: No. I pergi to school now
Duolingo is not really pay attention with the terms used in English. Leave means meninggalkan in Bahasa Indonesia actually.
Leaves means meninggalkan
Goes to school means pergi ke sekolah. Please duolingo perhatikan terms yang biasa dipergunakan.
