I can't understand why leave
is not accepted. I'm sure that there's a reason...

Leave is definitely accepted. What makes you think that it's not?

I used leave from the word bank that I was offered, and was marked wrong.

Were you able to report it? Or did you happen to get a screen shot of it?

She is ready to depart - why is this translation wrong?

Because -beH is only used for devices and not for beings, and we usually don't refer to such things as "she" in English.

Ahh right. Stupid me. Thanks!

I put "ready to leave", the correct answer was "set up to depart"...why was my answer incorrect?

Remember that the software is not smart enough to show you just exactly your mistake. We have set one "Best Answer" and that one best answer may have 4 or 5 differences from your sentence that are not actually wrong, just different choices. But somewhere in that sentence is an actual error. "Ready to leave" is accepted in many variations of the sentence. I would need to see your full entry to find what caused it to be rejected, whether it is your error or ours. I do not see a "my answer should be accepted" report that I can check. Do you have a screen cap? Or can you at least type the whole sentence you entered and hopefully, if you actually had an error, you will repeat it.

I didn't get a screen shot. Next time I'll try to. It really helps to get these explanations, makes learning faster. I appreciate it.
