Brazilian or European Portuguese? Which is it?

I'm doing the Portuguese lessons but unsure if they are designed for Brazilian Portuguese or European (Portugal) Portuguese. Does anyone know? I know there is a difference and am interested in moving to Portugal so primarily interested in that aspect of the language. Any help?
Thanks! Steve

Duolingo teaches Brazilian Portuguese. I'm sorry but I have no idea to what degree this dialect is understood in Portugal.

On Duolingo, we'll teach you Brazilian Portuguese, but you'll also be understood in Portugal.

You can ask in the Portuguese forum how different they really are.

Generally you can tell by which flag the language course uses, in this case it is indeed Brazilian Portuguese. I will say having studied BR and occasionally stumbled across European Portuguese, I would recommend focusing on PT-PT resources. There are some fairly significant differences in pronunciation and dialect that make it difficult to understand as a new learner.

Fortunately over in the Portuguese forum we've completed lists of resources to help you learn European Portuguese:

First, a fairly involved discussion on what's different between BR and PT: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/26440034

And two compiled lists of study materials for PT:
