New animation on app- any chance to bring back the dragging correct answer (moving it up & down) ?

(Android mobile app) In the previous version, before the new animation, you could drag the red or green answer shown by Duolingo after submitting - this was very useful because you could compare the incorrect answer to that of Duolingo, now when you get the answer it hides what you typed, unable to compare. Any chance to bringing it back?

I usually don't comment on posts that I upvote, but I don't understand why this feature was removed. Einat162 - do you report this when it happens on the app?

No, since it's not much of a translation error nor a bug- but an overall switch in interface.

It's neither an error nor a bug, but reporting it would be another way to let them know that this switch in interface is an obstacle in the learning process. At the very least it might prod an explanation of why the ability to move the notice was taken out of the app.

The mobile web version used to also allow this, and has just changed in the last day or so. I figured it was just a temporary bug in the website, but from what you have said Einat162, it's been deliberately put into the app too!

This is very irritating, means I can't check if I made a typo. I see no good reason for them breaking this.

Make sure you report this bug. It was very annoying for me today. Wasn't there yesterday.. https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us/articles/204728264-How-do-I-report-a-bug-

I agree I have reported this as a bug. There is loads of room below the question and my answer for the duo answer, there is no need for it to overlap in the first place. And a lot of the time I'm sure I typed in what they have but no way to check.

Looking forward for the update being rolled, since as of an hour ago it still the same on the app for me.

Unfortunately it changed back shortly afterwards. It's very weird. Folks in another forum thread saw it change briefly as well, so I know I'm not imagining it.

Einat162, are you sure you saw it in the app? I only see it in the mobile web version. On the Android app the answer appears fixed to the bottom of the page, not obscuring answers

Positive, only use the app while commuting.

I only use the mobile website version because the app is missing so many features, but looks identical. Don't get the Discussion button on the iPhone app, and neither app has the class notes for each skill

Is it still broken for you?

Yes, still the same. I don't think it's a bug- more like a feature- and it's not a good feature.

My android app on phone and tablet has the banner down the bottom of the screen, not over the answer, but I want to use the web version, as it has other features. It has this bug though

It's on the button on my Android too- but sometimes, if the sentence is a long one it goes over my answer. Can it be moved (that's the change, it was possible to moved before).

heh, not button ... bottom ... on the website the banner appears right in the middle, on my android app it appears right down at the base of the screen
