So I heard there was a new male voice for the Japanese course, and I also noticed a new female voice for the Chinese course; when did this all come around? Point being, it's very refreshing to hear another voice on the course :D
yeah the female voice used to be in the comments of the Chinese course ^_^ they finally swapped out the male and just used the female on everything (at least for now)
I wonder why it's almost always a female voice for learning languages? I do like to have both to understand how both sound in a sentence.
I've heard of the new Romanian voice and in all my opinion on that, I'd say that I really loved the previous voice before. It makes it rather hard to learn Romanian with newer voice which sounds pretty jumbled and mumbly. The previous voice was conveniently clear and open-mouthed that I learned how to speak Romanian quickly. But I honestly don't like the new voice, and I want it the previous one back.
I feel like I'm on the same level with you, honestly. While I like having a new voice, the new Chinese voice is particular is not as clear as the old one. They should at least mix them up, like the Japanese or German course.
