An Excellent Chinese Youtube Channel
Anyone who's looking for resources to supplement the Duolingo course should check out Mandarin Corner. Eileen’s videos have been wonderfully helpful in familiarizing me with casual speech and increasing my vocabulary. She tells stories, interviews people, explores her neighborhood, and discusses issues in Chinese society. What's more, she has a series teaching all of the HSK 1-5 vocabulary with example sentences. The videos include hanzi and pinyin subtitles, and many have English translations as well. I hope you find the channel as useful as I have!
I also recommend the Easy (Mandarin) Chinese series of the Easy Languages Youtube Channel ! It consists of a host interviewing people on the street. Each episode pertains to a certain subject. What I really liked is the fact they subtitle the audio with hanzi, english and pinyin !
我也看看曹禺的戏剧 ，有很多有用的句子（比如：“我只想吓唬吓唬他” - “雷雨” 1934）。
she has done really good material; best is that lately the translations were extended from literal word for word only to dual mode literal + practical translation. Also she is providing "slowly spoken version" first. really good
I use the Chineasy books. I have Chinese-Filipino second cousins in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Would you mind trying to make it available on a platform that is accessible in China (such a youku)?
