need some advice
so I see a lot of people doing 2 or more languages at a time. So if you click on the next language you want will it lose all your hard work? I am afraid to try
No you don't lose any progress, to get back to the other language just press the button and it'll be there.
If the languages are similar (e.g., Spanish and Portuguese), you might get the words confused. But over time, you should be able to sort it out.
Hi, this is the Spanish forum, for getting help with Spanish grammar, vocabulary, resources, etc. Could you please edit your original post and use the drop-down list at top left to change the topic from "Spanish" to "Troubleshooting"? That way it won't clutter up the Spanish forum, and the answers you get might help others who look in Troubleshooting for information on how Duolingo works.
You can switch languages if you learn from English. For example- I am from Poland and I can just learn English using Polish - I hope you understand what I mean. If I want to learn spanish , italian or japanese I had to change Duo to English- and now I can't learn English :)
Go back to where you choose to sign up for a course and tell it you speak Polish. Then you will see the choice for English. Choose it, and you will find all your previous progress is still there.
