It is now IMPOSSIBLE to log in on a computer

This is a glitch, I'm assuming. As you may have noticed, Duolingo decided to change their already good log in screen. In doing this, they made you have to log in with an email, and this made logging in impossible.

I went to study hall today to do some Spanish lessons, but I noticed there was a new log in pop-up. I typed in my username and password, and clicked enter. Then the pop-up disappeared. Then I clicked log in again, and I noticed that it said email. So, I typed in the email, and my password. It did the same thing! The pop-up just went away. It left me staring at the world on the log in screen. I tried again with my email, then again with my username, and none of it worked.

I have no idea what happened. I'm assuming it was a glitch with the log-in screen, because it's new.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Just refresh the page - you are logged in, it just does not switch to the next page for some reason.

I've been reading posts about this all morning. Yet I've had no problems logging into Duolingo on a computer.

If I was paranoid, I'd be thinking about phishing. But I can't think of why you'd want someone's Duolingo credentials unless they use the same password on a financial site. (Which, I suppose, is possible.)
