The English sentence is grammatically wrong and makes no sense. Is the German sentence any better? If so, how should it translate?

The German sentence is fine. "bei dem" refers back to "Problem", but it gets lost in translation, as it were. Here's my attempt.

I have a problem and I don't know how to solve it.
